The CFU has over 6,000 Field Days scheduled for March and April this year – in over 40 Districts – a feat of same the proportions that we have managed to pull off for many years now.
Go and attend a Field Day if you can. It’s a good opportunity to talk the farmers practicing Conservation Farming/ Conservation Agriculture in real field conditions. These are not Demo sites, but the results of ordinary farmers, facing ordinary challenges – and if they can achieve good success, so can anyone.
The bulk of the Field Days are held on small fields, hosted by farmers who have adopted CF after training by their local Lead Farmer/ Farmer Coordinator. However there are also larger Field Days, hosted by Field Officers on the more notable fields int heir area – and then even bigger Field Days held at the District level.
